Flashplayer 24 freezes on Firefox 50.1 under Windows 10

We're continuously hardening Flash Player against attackers, and they're in turn, continuously reverse-engineering our fixes to discover new attacks against people that don't patch promptly.  Moving backwards is a bad idea.

My recommendation would be first to simply restart the machine.

If the problem persists, do you experience the same thing in other browsers?  Flash Player for IE/Edge and Chrome are very different pieces of software.  It would be really interesting to know if this is a browser-specific issue, or if it's a core problem.

I'm not aware of anything off the top of my head that would have caused widespread performance issues in that release, nor have we seen widespread reports of performance problems.  My gut feel is that this is a local issue, and that rebooting will probably solve it, but if not, I'd be happy to try and help you figure out a solution.
