Flashplayer for Mac

I have a Macbook w/ OS 10.5 Leopard Duo Core Intel processor. I've been trying to do puzzles on Boxerjam.com and they do not download on my Mac. The message that comes up is that I need a current version of Flashplayer. I've downloaded Flashplayer 10 numerous times and the puzzles still don't load. I contacted Boxerjam and they advised that on newer Mac OS, Flashplayer 10 doesn't work to load the puzzles; they suggested an older version of Flashplayer may perhaps work (version 8u?). I am unable to find any versions earlier than Flashplayer 9. Has anyone come across this issue and found a solution?

    Older FP versions can be downloaded from http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/142/tn_14266.html

    Read the instructons regarding uninstalling of newer versions.

    I ran the uninstall, and then tried installing a couple of the older versions

    (10, 9, 8 and 7) but still no luck. I was running the uninstall after each try,

    and restarting my computer each time too.

    I dont understand what has happened here - Flashplayer was always working fine

    for me, until I updated to the new Safari.

    After installing any of these versions, no Flashplayer icon appears in my

    applications, nor does it appear in my internet plug-ins. Its like my computer

    is not detecting that they've even been installed, even though the Adobe

    installer says it has been.

    Any other advice?

    Well It could be your browser :<

    Try IE or Firefox or google chrome and install on those.

    I am having the same issue with You Tube, infact any video content. It tells me I need to update my Flashplayer even though I have - again and again and again!!!! Driving me insane. No answers yet. Can anyone help??
