Help! My Chromebook flashplayer says it is up-to-date, but when I try to play a certain game on Facebook (Baseball Heroes), it says download the latest version of Flashplayer, and my Chromebook says it already has it...also, I tried to access You Tube from a link on Facebook too, and it said the same thing...

This post was from 2013, but is attracting new, unrelated traffic for some reason.  I'm going to lock it.

Flash Player has reached it's End of Life.  It's no longer available.  You'll need to find alterate games that don't depend on Flash.

same thing with me, my son was on https://code.org, he was trying to play http://spritebox.com/flash.html, but it said:

Flash Player was not detected. Running SpriteBox on Web requires Flash Player.

i tried working it out but it didn't work.

Please see Google's support page, Use or fix Flash audio & video - Computer - Google Chrome Help , for assistance.

The following instructions, from the page, worked for me on http://spritebox.com/flash.html :

  1. To the left of the web address, click Lock Lock or Info Information.
  2. To the right of "Flash," click the Arrows Arrows.
  3. Choose Always allow on this site.
  4. Reload the page.

Adobe flash is directly integrated with Google chrome and chrome book and enabled by default.

Any available updates are automatically included in Google chrome system updates.
So I suggest you to check "Is there any system updates available for Chrome system and update that"

If still it's not working try enable flash in Google chrome using below link.

Hi,

Flash Player is directly integrated with Chrome and hence there is no need for any update. However, there are chances that there might be a setup change. Can you please read the following help document?

http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/installation-problems-flash-player-windows.html

Hope the above helps.

With regards,

The page you posted was no help at all. There is nothing on there about what she asked about. There is a lot of people that have this trouble. I have a laptop that runs Windows 7, new update was not loading correctly. I completely removed it from my laptop, then installed the new one. It's okay but not the best. My mother has CromeBook and can not find Adobe Flash Player any were on it.
