Will you please STOP putting google toolbar and google crome in your flashplayer updates.

I DO NOT WANT THESE PROGRAMS INSTALLED EVERY TIME FLASHPLAYER WANTS TO UPDATE.

Very annoyed

We see this complaint frequently in this forum.  However, I never got any clear answer...

This morning I got an update prompt on an XP system; it opened this panel

There is a checkbox that can be unchecked if we don't want the bundled software.  Questions

  • did you go through this panel?
  • did you uncheck the checkbox?
  • did it install McAfee anyway?
  • did you get a different panel without a checkbox?
  • or did the update take place in the background?

I would really like to know what is happening.

Running windows 7 64 bit

all i got was a grey/blue panel with 2 buttons update and cancel, clicked update and it downloaded and installed the update + google toolbar + google chrome automaticly

i never saw any checkboxes or options to exclude them.

this is the 2nd time now that its installed google with the update.
