FP 10 update notices

I am running Internet Explorer 9.

I receive many, many, requests each day to upgrade Abobe flash player.

There really is no Adobe 10 upgrade for 64 bit Explorer 9

I can click on the Adobe message telling it NO to the upgrade and that makes no difference.  Another box pops up immediately.

I can set the notice to NEVER notify....makes no difference as immediately up pops another box.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Previous to this ......................... loathsome insanity by adobe, I was completly ambivalent.  Now I have come to loathe the very name adobe.

Any help will be appreciated !

    Hi,

I'm also using Internet Explorer 9 64bits and I have the release 32 bit flash player installed on it without a problem. There must be something else at work there.

You could also try to install the 64 bit preview release of the flash player ("Square") that is available on Labs. I've used that for some time and had no problems with it. You can find it here: http://labs.adobe.com/technologies/flashplayer10/

    Best,

    Rui

Can you show us a screenshot of such a pop-up?  I have never seen anything such, as I have disabled update notifications.
