Games launched in Flash Player 32 standalone have much worse performance than in Chrome

I have recently downloaded some flash games to play on my laptop when I'm not connected to the internet and I noticed that the performance is really poor. When I launch the same games on websites in Chrome, they don't seem to be as laggy as in Flash Player 32 standalone. Is there a way to make it a bit better?
