Gamespot Video Playback

This problem recently happened to me, maybe around a week ago. It had happened on my old windows also, but I ended up reintalling, the problem went away, but now it retured.

I had a thread posted over at gamespot about it, sadly I did not get much advice, so Im wondering if you guys over here can help me since I know the gamespot videos are managed through adobe flash player.

This happened recently, and I dont know how. This also happened on my old version of windows, but the problem went away when I ended up reinstalling windwos. Anyways, during any video that I play from gamespot, whether it be a review or gameplay, every time my mouse cursor moves the 4 corners of the video box, the video will lag for arounmd 2-3 seconds, EVERY SINGLE TIME. Its really annoying. Anyone encounter this problem and have a fix to it?

and the second

Moving my mouse outside the video window causes it, or when I bring it back in, or switch tabs. I thought it might have been a flash problem, I have the latest version of flash player, and I even reinstalled it just to make sure. Im using XP SP2, and IE explorer 7(i hate . Im going to try it on firefox later on.

I dont think its a performance issue, ive been running this windows for around 3 months now with a Q6600, a 4870, 3 GB of ram, etc. And the videos were working fine, the problem only occured a few days ago, which is strange. Nothing else seems to be hogging my system, ATM IE is using up the most according to my task manager.
