Hi !
At work - U. of Montreal - we're thinking about converting all video media to the H.264 codec. Does Flash Player read non ".flv" files (.mp4 files for instance) ?

    Hi collinlahay,

Thanks for the references. I've downloaded the latest standalone Flash Player (9,0,115,0) but it doesn't seem to read "generic" H.264 (encoded output from camcorder)... In fact it doesn't even read .flv files. !!! We're looking for a player that should be "independant" from computer manufacturer's "flavors" (QTime or Windows Media Player) as we have a mix of Mac, Windows and Unix machines on site. Flash Player seems (or doesn't) a good solution for our purposes.
