Get Rid Of Flash 4Ever

Hi

How can I successfully get rid of the Flash player on my mac, and never have any adobe window pop up and ask me to install or update.

If I run into a page with flash, I will just ignore it, I do not care.

The player and the installation and/or update are such a pain, each updatre takes me some 10 minutes and X YES, YES, YES..... and Passwords for three times and then still I am not sure if the update is finished. I just do not want to see this ever again, this is a constant frustration and I never want to see it again,

It isn't Adobe windows that pop up and tell you to update. Mostly they are fakes - malware - trying to get you to install viruses. Anyway Flash is being phased out, it will be gone in little more than a year. I imagine the fake warnings will continue.


Just uninstall it, and ignore all exhortations to install it.

Just a heads up flash player will no longer exsit in 2020.

On Windows, use the Windows uninstaller posted at Uninstall Flash Player for Windows

With that said, Google embeds Flash Player in Chrome, so if you're using Chrome, it's still there.  The uninstaller does not uninstall any embedded version of Flash.
