Question

getplus+(R) has stopped working

Ok before you guys ask, I've tried everything, researched everywhere and cannot find a solution to this problem.

Everytime I attempt to install flash player, adobe reader, etc I get this error.

Someone here must know what is causing this. I've uninstalled, re-installed flash player / ADM many times. No matter what I do the same error continues to occur.

I even downloaded flash player from another source, yet still some stuff such as youtube videos, etc will not work properly and It tells me I need to install the latest version, which is impossible for me to do.

I've tried downloading flash with multiple browsers and it does not work.

This same error also occurs whenever I've tried to install Adobe Reader.

This ADM software is really buggy, I can't believe I'm forced to use this to install flash player.

I'm using Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. Oh, and browser is Firefox, though I've tried doing it through IE as well.

Please, if anyone knows what I can do to finally get this fixed, please do tell.

Hi, Go to Programs and Features via Control Panel. Post back if you have the DLM (download manager) and or a getplus entry.

Using IE, go to Tools, Manage add ons, Toolbars & Extensions, to Show all add ons. There are 4 Categories, check all of them for a getplus, a get_atlcom Class or a DLM Control.

Using Firefox, check plug-ins, add ons and extensions for the same thing.

Also let me know what version of Firefox you are using.

    Thanks,

Once you have removed the DLM, try downloading the executable installer for your browser from http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/fp_distribution3.html; save it to disk, then close all browser windows and run the downloaded installer(s).

Have you tried uninstalling flash entirely then reinstalling it by visiting a flash site or Youtube? In Firefox as far as I know all you have to do is click 'allow' in the yellow bar pop-up then install it like normal. No Adobe download manager or any annoyances like that. I'm not sure if it works the same way in other browsers though.
