Getting stuck at 7%

While trying to download Adobe Flash Player for my new Macbook pro 13 inch with all updated software, I keep getting to a download page. But at the download page the download stops at 7% and after staying there for a few minutes the window just goes away. This keeps happening and I don't know what to do.

Correct answer C_F_McBlob

See: How to perform a "clean install" of Flash Player in Mac OS X

There's a direct link there and instructions to do a thorough install. If all you need is the installer right click the link on that page and it should download for you.

Now I allowed applications to be downloaded from anywhere and all that happened is now it gets to 9% instead of 7%.
