Good bye Flash - I'm uninstalling Flash due to latest Firefox 13 bug and reporting it to the press

It's time to say good bye to Flash for me. I'm uninstalling it due to this protected mode Firefox 13 bug. I tried ALL work-arounds and NONE worked for me.

Adobe blamed RealPlayer ... that's really easy. It's a near-death company that has been almost wiped out by Microsoft when they bundled Windows Media Player with Windows. RealPlayer is NOT the root cause. Let's make that clear!

Only disabling protected mode helped but that's really embarrassing... of course I can downgrade to a previous version of Flash but this is not the problem. The problem is that Adobe blamed RealPlayer and now thinks it's all good. It's not and the press should know that. I encourage everyone to report this behavior to the press (I did). You can't blame other companies if you messed it up!

That is not quite true; Adobe cited an incompatibility between the Flash Player and Real Player plugins.  Adobe is actively working with Real to fix the incompatibility.  Nobody is "blaming" anybody.

    Anyway - good bye!
