Half the screen is a darker shade than the other - in Facebook, Netflix, Youtube etc.

Half the screen using flash player appears darker than the other. I've checked that the software is up to date and it is the same in internet explorer and windows edge.

Any ideas?

This is not a Flash Player issue. It's most likely a problem with the display cable or the display itself.

If you resize the window so that it's smaller than the screen and then move it around, does the color change stay in a fixed location on the screen, or does it follow the window around?

When I resize the window to be smaller than the screen, the issue is still there - i.e., half the screen is still darker than the other and it splits exactly in the middle of the screen, following the window around.

Any thoughts?
