having problems broadcasting my face time HD internal camera on macbookpro13"earlly2011

Hello i hva a macbookpro 13"early2011 with operating system1.10.5 i am having trouble casting the face time hd in websites that require flash player is there away to disable and have the camera switch when i want to broadcast on social media or would it be bettter to get an external camera and if so how do i figure out what camera would be compatible with my computer?
