pop up asking permission, unless you give permission they keep sending it

as soon as I denied. That just to start In the beginning when asked about

downloading and I checked ask before downloading. Then I started getting pop

ups from my Properties. Also the I keep getting pop ups about putting

very game I play in Club Pogo I get the pop up to save in my favorites. I

always cancel. Then it starts with my printer. It has been knocked off line

3 times now. I won't begin to let you know the paper they have wasted.

Many other things have been happening but I just want to get this mess

cleared up. I do not download games, I do not save any thing.

    Hi,

Sorry, but your post makes no sense.  Please be clear and precise when describing an issue.  Also, posting screenshots to show what your seeing is very helpful.  See How do I attach a screenshot?

Microsoft embeds Flash Player in IE/Edge on Windows 10.  All Flash Player updates for IE/Edge are released by Microsoft via Windows Update. If you do not use Firefox/Opera and have not installed Flash Player for these browsers then any pop-ups you're getting to install/update Flash Player are malicious notifications.  If this is what's happening your system appears to be infected with a virus, malware, adware, etc.  Based on the information provided this appears to be what has happened.

    Dear Maria Vargas:

Thanks for getting back to me. Sorry you felt I didn't make any sense

that my pop ups are malice.

Well, I spoke with Microsoft & after reading what you sent back to me.

They worked on my computer for hours. They ran one scan after the other. They

could not find any problems or threats, they even cleaned the

components in Windows 10. They checked about having Flash Player on every

browser. Internet Explorer, Fire Fox, Chrome and Edge. They checked their

old back case # 's where their Techs have seen the different pop ups.

I have called them many times they said to contact Adobe but today since

they read your e-mail answer today they said they would do everything they

    could to help me

I do not download any games or save them on my computer. After the games

load & I'm done playing the game. I just sign out of the computer. I do

not save it in my favorites or in my properties nor do I print anything or

send anything to anyone. I do not save them on desktop in icons.

When I go to play a game in club pogo, I go to a browser, clear it out

and type in www.clubpogo.com (http://www.clubpogo.com) , hit Enter and

    play.

So, I'm asking you to please check and change my options for Adobe to say,

Ask for permission first to download on my computer.

As for the pop ups then I should not receive anymore because you get your

updates from Microsoft. I don't understand why do you need permission then.?

I haven't sent you any Screen Shots since you get updates from Microsoft

Windows and you said I must be getting the pop ups because of malice. So

that is why I'm asking you to please change my permission for the downloads to

    ask first.

Thank you for all the trouble you must have gone through not understanding

my request. If I have anymore fquestions I will contact Microsoft as to

how to go about fixing it.

Again I'm sorry for bothering you with trying to fix Adobe's product.

Take Care & Happy New Year.

    Sincerely,

    Deborah Butkiewicz

    Hi,

I honestly don't know what pop-up you are referring to.  It can be anything and that's why providing a screenshot is the best way to demonstrate exactly what you are seeing.

IE was the only browser mentioned in the first post, therefore, my reply was based on this.  I also stated that if you have Flash Player for other browsers, it's possible the pop-up could be for one of those browsers.  Microsoft only embeds Flash Player in IE/Edge browsers.  Google also embeds Flash Player in Chrome and Flash Player for Chrome updates are released by Google, so any update notification you're seeing wouldn't be for Flash Player for Chrome, either.  If you use other browsers (e.g. Firefox, Opera) then, depending on your Flash Player update settings it's possible the notification is to update Flash Player for one of those browsers.  Again, screenshots are best.  Do you use other browsers?  If so, which ones?

"So, I'm asking you to please check and change my options for  Adobe to say, Ask for permission first to download on  my computer."

This is not something we do.  This is a setting on your system and the appropriate answer depends on which Flash Player plugin you are referring to:

    • Flash Player for IE/Edge: There isn't a separate setting for Flash Player update notification.  Depending on your version of Windows 10 (e.g. Home, Pro/Enterprise) you may only be able to modify when the updates are installed (labeled as 'change active hours').  Go to Settings > Update & Security to see which options are available to you. Again, there is no separate setting to notify if a Flash Player update is available.
    • For Flash Player for Firefox or Opera:  Go to Control Panel > Flash Player > Updates tab and select 'Notify me to install updates'
      • Note: On Windows 10, the options in the Updates tab are only available if you have Flash Player NPAPI (for Firefox) or PPAPI (for Opera) installed.
