HELP: Adobe Flash keeps crashing

Could somone please help me.  I cannot play most of my games on Facebook because the "most wonderful" Adobe Flash keeps crashing on me.  I spend more time sending crash reports than I do playing the darn games.  Please keep in mind that I am not computer literate at all.
