help please

I cannot download/install flash player.  I hit download, click active x as instructed and the box asks to install.  I click install and absolutely nothing happens.  Obviously I cannot view utube or install itunes!!!!  help please

    Aren't there any non-activex installations available for IE??

    Did you uninstall the adobe downloader incorrectly and maybe it left some pieces? Are you getting this error:

    getPlus+ Error

    Try Firefox or Chrome, much better browser alternatives to IE.
