HELP!!! Uninstall -Force

I have posted with the complaint seen in numerous previous threads. Seems that I have to use the -force uninstall option from a saved uninstaller accessed with command prompt with a crapload of gobldygook stuff that when I try all this, the damn thing upon reloading still doesn't work. Continuously I am told that I need to upgrade to a newer version.

How do I realy know that the damn thing is realy realy super realy uninstalled?

What other options exist other than throwing this computer out and buy a Mac?

It is very unclear what you did...?

    • Did you install the 10.1 beta at any time before trying to uninstall the latest release version of Flash Player?
    • Did you use the 10.1 uninstaller to uninstall the 10.1 beta?
    • Did you use the -force option as described in the uninstall instructions?
    • What kind of "gobldygook" did you do?

P.S. the answer may be really simple, but we need to know what exactly you did.

Part of the problem is that

it is my wifes computer and I don't

get mine back until her's is fixed.

I don't know if she installed the betta or not. I have used the version 10 uninstalller, the windows uninstaller, a "Perfect Uninstaller" uninstall, and the flash 10 installer with the -force uninstaller using the format given in a previous posting from the command prompt (the gobledegook). When reloaded with flash player, at every opportunity the screen fills with messages saying " The version of Adobe Flash Player Activex that you are trying to install is not the most current version. Please visit http://adobe.com/go/getflashplayer to obtain the latest, most secure version."

I am therfore stuck with this lobotomized computer. Adobe states that for $$$$ they will help. Any comments appreciated.

yes she did download the beta verison. i was haveing the same problem. any why move the uninstaller.exe form your desktop to your user file i.e bobs marrys, file under your start menu. then open a comand promp and put in flashplayer10_1_rc4_uninstall_win_050510.exe -force.Then download the flash player and reinstall.Hope that works for you. i pulled out what little hair i had left tring to figure that out.
