Help with uninstalling Adobe Flash Player

That said, you shouldn't really have to manually delete files in the bowels of the operating system, unless there's some extraordinary circumstance, which would typically indicate a corrupted filesystem or failing hard disk. While the approach cited is certainly thorough, it seems like overkill, and there are easier ways to get a similar effect.

If you want to make sure that Flash Player's internal state is blown away, you can simply go to Settings > Flash Player > Advanced, and choose Delete All. 

It's far more likely that the original issue wasn't a problem with the installation, but a problem with the ever-changing security restrictions imposed by Safari on Plug-ins (i.e. Flash Player). 

Once you've reinstalled Flash Player from here:

If that doesn't help and you're not using ad-blockers or anything like that, let us know and we'll provide some other suggestions.

Hi,

Apple hides the Library (System and User's) folder by default.  See Access hidden Mac OS library files  to view the hidden Library folder.  There are 2 Library folders: /Library is the System Library folder, ~/Library will be the logged in User's Library folder.  For the log files you want the currently logged in User's Library folder.
