1. If you have firefox or IE8 then you are running a 32-bit browser and as far as i know opera,chrome,safari,flock. can't think of any other browser off the top of my head unless you run the 64-bit version of IE , which clearly says Internet Explorer (64-bit)

3. to reinstall flash player run the uninstaller located here, http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/141/tn_14157.htmli suggest rebooting then going here http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ to download the installer

4. again #3 answers this question because the most up to date version of flash player is always being offered there

5. This is almost an impossible question to answer because it could be something you don't even do it could be an update from adobe that messed up flash player or even something from windows its hard to say.
