High memory usage on safari

Hi all

I recently updated my mac to OSX El Capitan 10.11.4 and since updating have experience severe issues with Flash Player. I have previously had no such issues but since i updated the CPU usage when using safari to play flash games is constantly above 200%.

I have already tried uninstalling and reinstalling Flash player, as well as clearing all the stored data off my mac.

My flash etc is all up to date with the latest version

Any help on how to reduce the CPU usage would be much appreciated

Can you point us to an example of content that used to work fine, but now doesn't?

    Realm of the Mad God.

Now that I have updated my flash and computer hardware i can no longer play games properly. When playing the above game i had no previous issues, now i get frame rate lag and incredibly high net jitter. My flash player CPU usage goes up to 2-300%. This is the same with all flash related content on all browsers.

What happens when you disable hardware acceleration?  It seems like we've stopped using hardware acceleration on your machine after the update, but sometimes GPU acceleration just goes wrong and makes things slower (weird, but true).  If there's a new GPU bug or something, disabling hardware acceleration should make a noticeable difference.  It will at least tell us if we're looking at the right set of things.

There are instructions in the guide below:

Also, if you could give me the output of Apple > About This Mac > System Report > Hardware Overview, that will help me find a comparable machine to try this on.  I'm definitely not seeing it on 11.3 with my machine. I'll do the update this afternoon and take another look.
