High quality flash videos

Hi, i am using an Asus Eee PC laptop ( it's actually very new), for about 2 weeks i have been trying to watch high quality flash videos using Mozilla Firefox, but everytime i try to watch it, the video always lags, and the whole web page becomes extremely slow, at first i thought it was my ram problem but i believe 512 MB ram should be more than enoguh to watch those. Anyone can give me suggestions?

    I have had a similar problem but found it was because I was running off the battery.  When I connected the power it started running faster.  I guess it is something to do with the power saving when on batteries which makes the processor run slow.
