How can I tell what is wrong, when Adobe Flash is enabled but no media plays?

I have Amazon Music, and I keep getting this error:

Flash not detected

Flash must be installed and enabled to stream Amazon Music. You can install Flash from http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer

. If you have installed Flash already, please make sure Flash is enabled. Go to the Edge menu, click "Settings", then click "View Advanced Settings". On this page, make sure "Use Adobe Flash Player" is toggled on.

I have tried these instructions with no positive result.  As mentioned, the flash is enabled.  Can anyone help?

First, confirm that ActiveX Filtering is configured to allow Flash content:

Internet Explorer 11 and Edge introduce a number of changes both to how the browser identifies itself to remote web servers, and to how it processes JavaScript intended to target behaviors specific to Internet Explorer. Unfortunately, this means that content on some sites will be broken until the content provider changes their site to conform to the new development approach required by modern versions of IE.

You can try to work around these issues by using Compatibility View:

If that is too inconvenient, using Google Chrome may be a preferable alternative.
