how can i update Flash Player?

I'm running Windows 10, I.E.11. Adobe says the player is integrated into I.E. 8 and above, but mine reports out of date, I have version number 19.0.0.185. Adobe says I need version number 19.0.0.207. so, when I click on 'get the latest update', all I get is that it's already installed. when I click on 'check now' on the latest version page at Adobe, I get the above message that mine is out of date and needs to be updated. If I go to my control panel and open the Flash Player control there, the option to update is grayed out. I play games on this computer that use the Flash Player and they have started acting up today. This is true on 7 computers I have here at home, 3 laptops, all running Windows 10 and I.E.11, 3 desktops running the same, and 1 older desktop that I haven't yet moved files from that's running XP Pro, and I didn't check the I.E. number on it, I suspect it is I.E. 10. starting today, the games I play no longer load, and return a message to me that I need to download and install the latest Flash version. so, HOW do I do this, when all I get is 'it's installed' when I click 'update now' here, but when I click 'check now', the message I get is that 'your Flash Player is out of date and you need to update.' ?????

I suppose I could try un-installing this version of Flash Player, and then try to download the new version, but what IF Adobe still won't let me download it?
