how come my flash player wont play

I have been playing bingo blitz on Facebook for a long time . A month or so ago it stopped letting me play and insists that I update Flashplayer. so I follow the link where it tells me I do not need to install or update. The add-on is enabled and active filtering is off as instructed I have a Surface RT with Windows 8 and access through Internet explorer, I am to understand that Flashplayer is now part of I.E.. I have done everything I have been told to do and even removed and reinstalled I.E .but still no bingo . Can anyone help with this problem?
