How do I fix volume problems with online videos and movies like Hulu?

I have followed all the steps in the trouble shhoting guide to no avail. I tested my computer volume for CD's, DVD's and stored contect, and it workes fine.

I made sure the volume control on the video was up but I still don't hear anything, not on youtube or Hulu. Please help! I can't watch my favorite show!!!!!!
