How do I install Adobe Flash Player 21 on MAC OS X Version 10.8.5? It will not accept my password.

How do I install Adobe Flash Player on MAC OS X Version 10.8.5?  I keep getting messages to upgrade but it will not accept my password.  Everything is working fine on my laptop MacBook Pro.

    Hi,

    This is the OS, not Flash Player prompting for the password, as such, this would be the password you use to log into your computer (if it's an Admin account).  This FAQ provides more info:  What userid & password do I need to install Flash Player?
