How do I install the newest flash?

While trying to install newest flash, I get the error message to close explorer and yahoo im firts. I close those programs and still get the same error message. Cna someone help?

You need to close all applications that use Flash Player; use the Task Manager's Processes tab to close apps that still run in the background.

Close all programs. Go to Control Panel and Remove older version first. In Control Panel click on another Adobe product to find link to update to new version of Flash Player. I just solved the same problem I had. My system is Windows XP (32 bit), my browser is Internet Explorer 8.
