How I finally got Flash9 working and can use youtube

After 2 weeks of extreme frustration trying absolutely everything and tearing out what little hair I had left I finally managed to get flash 9 working. What you need to do is run the downloadable adobe flash uninstaller and then go to the website below and download the IE "standalone" flash 9 installer. All will be ok after that, and you can finally view videos in youtube.

Same with me. It stopped, I messed around with several things, it started again  now it's gone again. I reckon this is all because I started to turn the machine off to <save the planet>. They say no good deed goes unpunished.....

This didn't work for me either. I'm just loading up my new machine and there are very few programs on it. Are any of you guys that are still having problems running a NVIDIA GeForce 3 video card? Another forum suggested a driver incompatibility.

I can't watch any movies on youtube, it says: Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Macromedia's Flash Player. Get the latest Flash player.
...I''ve uninstalled both Java and Flash Player and installed them again(the standalone for flash 9) and restarted the computer, but it still doesn't work..And when I press the "get the latest Flash player" link, the adobe site appears, but there's no "install now"-button:S

    Please help...

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's only been 3 days of frustration for me but FINALLY I found your post and it worked.

I wonder how this happened in the first place? I had been using YouTube for months and then 3 days ago it failed.

    Any ideas?

    Dear John:
Wonderful solution! It was the needle in the hay stack ( all this other stuff on the Adobe site that just didn't work). Thank you! If you chose to share with us what you do for a living, I will send business your way if I can. Regards, Bob Wilson (consultwil@aol.com)
