how to fix flash player 19 initialization error?

I was having problems with my cable subscriber's webpage video streaming service (shoddy video playback only on their website) and after a whole lot of troubleshooting, the customer rep told me to uninstall Adobe Flash Player and then reinstall.  I tried, but I keep receiving an application initialization error.  Can someone please help me with this. I'm using IE11.
