Question

How to remove the hot links from my web pages caused by flashplayer?

Never had this issue before & find it VERY annoying & disappointed to have this in my latest update.

My web pages now contain double underlined words which are hotlinked to pop-up ads....

Disabled the recent Flash add on (using Firefox) & the problem goes away.

Use Flash Player often but will do without if I can't remedy this.

Should I (somehow) revert to an earlier version or ???

Seems a lot of folks have this issue & short of disable; or delete Flash altogether, I can't find a solution to this problem.

Thanks,

Mike

You've got what's know as a "browser hack".

It DID NOT come from Adobe and it ISN'T Flash Player doing it. Flash Player is simply being used to do it.

Check your Control Panel and remove the ad software that inadvertently installed from some unscrupulous website.
