How to track or find Flash usage?

I want to get an idea of what sites are using Flash Player when I go to them. Is there some way to find out how much flash is being used on a given machine. I am using IE 11 on Win 10. I know if I turn on Active X filtering and then click allow that I can get a list of websites in the registry but not all of those would be Flash. I would just like to get an idea of what kind of impact it would be if I just turned Flash off altogether. If there is a way to track it is there a way to create a whitelist?

You could log all instances of requests for .swf files at the gateway, which should give you a decent idea.

Alternatively, if this is just for your personal use (I was assuming network administrator in my first reply), most browsers have a "prompt before loading plugin" setting. You could just turn it on and see what breaks and/or how much you're prompted for content you care about.

This is not for personal use. I will look into the first option. I have also been looking at the IE version Audit log for active x controls. really just wondering if there was something a bit easier. Thanks for the replies.
