I forgot to add in my previous post, that when I do try to download the flash player from adobe that I get a window that pops up that states,

cannot load a GUI, whatever that is.

Unfortunately, you've started two threads.  We'll use this one, and not the other one.  For reference, you're previous comment was

I've been fighting this for several days and am starting to get pretty bummed out.

I cannot get the flash player 20 to actually download, even tho adobe says it has installed.

Anyone care to walk me thru it?What I'm doing wrong.

    A few questions:

    1. what do you mean 'I cannot get the flash player 20 to actually download?  there is no 'flash player 20'.
    2. on your most recent post, you say that when you try to download flash player, you get a pop-up indicating 'cannot load a GUI'.  Please post a screenshot of the error.
    3. What is your browser/OS  - there are two different players based on browser:  ActiveX for IE/AOL, and Plugin for Firefox, Opera, Safari, etc
    4. What URL did you go to to attempt to download the player?

    Thank you in advance.
