Hello

My computer is very old it is windowsxp and as firefox did not work very well I replaced it with opera but I can't download

the flash player to play the BBC i player

I had the flash player disabled with firefox and when going onto the i player I clicked ''allow now'' to enable Adobe flash to work

but when removing firefox I forgot to change it to enable

My computer is showing that Adobe flash is installed but when going to opera://plugins i can't find it there but it is

showing on  my control panel, on add or remove programs, i have the Adobe manager and 2 Adobe flash programs

Thank you

    Hi,

Firefox and Opera use two different plugin types.  Firefox uses NPAPI plugin, which it seems you have installed.  Opera uses the PPAPI plugin, which it seems you do not have installed.

If you have Windows XP with Service Pack 3 installed, launch Opera and navigate to https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer to download the installer.

If you do not have Service Pack 3 installed, go to Installation problems | Flash Player | Windows 7 and earlier and scroll down to 'Still having problems' and download Flash Player PPAPI for Opera and Chromium-based browsers.
