I can't open Adobe Flash Player

I already downloaded flash and installed it a million times, but I can't use it still. I'm using Google Chrome on a Mac version 10.6.8. Every time I open flash it just asks if I read the terms and I check the box and have to install it AGAIN. I've also already enabled flash on Chrome as well. I just want to use flash and I don't know why it's doing this over and over. Please help, after Sunday I can't have any free time on computers. I don't want to have to wait a whole new week to make things... ; - ;

Hi,

For the list of supported OS, refer to Tech specs | Adobe Flash Player page. For Chrome browser, Flash Player downloads and updates are taken care by Google. Have you tried all the steps mentioned on Use or fix Flash audio & video - Computer - Google Chrome Help page to enable Flash Player for Chrome?

Thanks!

Google Chrome is no longer supported on OS X 10.6.8.  The last version of Google Chrome that supported OS X 10.6.8 was Chrome 49.  Chrome 49 has an embedded version of Flash Player, which is no longer being updated since Chrome is no longer supported on OS X 10.6.8.  Chrome 49 is only aware of the embedded Flash Player location, therefore, when you install Flash Player Chrome 49 isn't aware of the directory it's installed to, and therefore, doesn't load it.
