I can't play games or watch videos. I'm trying to download adobe, but nothing happens. What do I need to do?

How do I get something downloaded? I can't play games or watch videos, so I clicked on adobe flash player to get it downloaded, but apparently  I'm doing something wrong. Trying to contact customer service is a rat maze, and this is getting old.

Close all applications you open, specially browsers. then go the flash player link here https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/
