I can't run Flashplayer. Why?

Hi,

Flash player on my windows 10 pc wont run. I get a message saying it is disabled but when I follow the instructions given my settings indicated thst it is both installed and enabled. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

    Hi, I have solved my own problem whilst getting the info you asked for. It was a problem with my version of java.everything seems to work now, thanks for the inadvertent tip.

    For the record, Java and Flash are distinct and we don't depend on Java, but something clearly changed.  Glad it works for you now.
