I cann't download Flash Player to my netbook

When I try to download  flash player to my netbook, I get a message that says "the download did not pass integrety check (16297.304.448).  I use IE 8 and Windows 7 starter.  Any help would be much appreciated

    Hi, This sounds like the DLM(download manager). Do you already have Flash Player on your netbook and trying to update to the latest version?

    Also what Anti-Virus/Spyware program to you have Installed?

    Thanks for the reply.  I checked the control panel and have no flash installed.  I ran the deinstaller just in case.  I have McAfee as my virus protection, but turned it off for the download and install.
