I have a Mac. The download stops at 50% installed every time and tells me it encountered a problem. What do I need to do? I do not have Adobe or Safari open.

I'd like to get some log files from you to investigate further.  Please see the FAQ Where do I find the Flash Player installation log on the Macintosh? and provide all four (4) files listed. Please read through the FAQ before doing anything to minimize the need to re-run the installer to obtain all log files.  For files 3 & 4, please follow the instructions to enable verbose logging before running the installer again.
