I've acquireda virus that poses as adobe flash player update. Does any one know how to get rid of this adware, malware?

Hi,

I'm sorry, we don't provide assistance with malware/adware/malware removal, as that is beyond the scope of these forums.  There are many other sites that provide assistance with this.

From where did you download the malicious Flash Player update?  Adobe actively pursues malicious sites that provide malicious Flash Player installers.  If you provide a direct link to the update file I will forward it to our security/fraud department to follow-up on.

I was prompted to update my flash player when I mistakenly went to www.iclould.com instead of www.icloud.com (first address incorrectly spelled with an extra L)

I hit the download button, realized it was not real so didn't open or install the .dmg file, but it must have installed the virus anyway, as it just popped up again when I went to the real Apple iCloud site.

I ran Malwarebytes software but it did not find it.  grr...
