I have downloaded Flash Player 21.0.0.213 and now I have no sound on my PC. I run Windows Vista Home Premium 64 bit and use Mozilla Firefox latest version. I have tried uninstalling Flash Player (using the Adobe uninstaller)and re-installing it to no avail. Videos play eg Youtube but no sound, I also have no sound on iTunes. I have check on the settings and it says 21.0.0.213 NPAPI version is installed but not ActiveX  version or PPAPI version. Can you confirm there is a major problem or is there a patch I can download to restore my sound. As I said earlier, this only happened since I downloaded 21.0.0.213. Prior to this, I had full sound with no problems. I did uninstall it and downloaded the previous version 21.0.0.197 but when I checked, it showed the new version 21.0.0.213 was there.

I am having the same issue in a Win7 64bit environment.  We rolled out v21.0.0.213 (because of the Flash Zero Day Vulnerablity) and now audio is not working within IE 11.  If I check the "Play Sounds in Webpages" box, then it works.  But after closing the browser, the box is magically unchecked.  I have checked our Group Policies and we do not have this set to disable.  I could really use some or any help with this.

Hi,

can you please share a reproducible scenario, because it works fine for me on win 7 IE11 with 21.0.0.213.
