Question

I have now uninstalled, check that I don't have two set of files in my Library (preferences and caches) and I still cannot get past ~56% of reinstall before it fails. What do I try next?

I have an iMac early 2008, running OS El Capitan, 10.11.3. The first time I put all the folders I could find associated with Adobe Flash Player in the trash. This time I ran the Uninstall software. Anyone have any further suggestions? (I did check my browser settings to make sure they matched what was recommended by Adobe.)

Hi,

I'd like to get some log files from you to investigate further.  Please review the FAQ Where do I find the Flash Player installation log on the Macintosh?‌.  If you are using the online installer (downloaded from get.adobe.com/flashplayer) provide all four files (FlashPlayerInstallManager.log, install.log, Adobe_ADM.log, and Adobe_GDE.log) listed in the FAQ.  If you are using the offline/standalone installer provide only the FlashPlayerInstallManager.log and install.log files.  Please review the FAQ before proceeding with the installation to prevent duplicating installation attempts to obtain all files.

After gathering all files upload the files to cloud.acrobat.com using the instructions at How to share a document or some other file sharing service of your choice that doesn't require login access.  Post the link to the uploaded files in your reply.

Thank you.

Maria -I tried adding a reply to the forum; however, I got an error. So I am typing into another computer the link so you can access the files.

FYI: I had to create the "my user file name" / Library / Logs for the .trace file.
