I have tried about everything but Adobe Flash Player will not complete install on...
my HP Pavilion Laptop with Windows 7 64 bit Home Premium.
I was using a old copy of Firefox v28 as I hate the new version as they have removed most of the "goodies" we liked. Adobe/Firefox started to complain and would stop Flash when browsing and ask me to hit several buttons to continue and reload/start Flash.
I finally had enough so upgraded Firefox to v35 because somewhere that was recommended as my browser was "out of date". But the stoppage of Flash and warnings did not stop with the update.
So I uninstalled Flash if it was still installed, downloaded a new copy of Flash from Adobe and attempted to install. That was last week and I still can not get it to complete installation. I get the "RUN" then it stops and hangs. The Task Manager says it has memory allocated but no CPU usage.
I have repeated this process MANY times with turning off/on firewall, on/off anti-virus, etc and still nothing.
Anyone have a clue as to why??
Thanks,
