I havenenabled flash player but it keeps sayingit is disabled

Hi,

I am running Microsoft edge and I am attempting to run something which requires flash player. When I check to see if I have flash player it says I do but it is disabled. I have followed the steps to ensure it is all enabled and switched on but I am still getting nothing. What do I do?
