the old download links were archived right before I tried to get this... does anyone know where I can still get a legit/safe download of the old Flash player 9 version?

Flash Player is backward compatible.

You can get the latest Flash Player from here:

THANK YOU. that is literally all I needed to know in all the lengthy chats with support ha... that if a site says a video won't load because I need Flash Player 9 then the problem isn't because I don't have the right *version.*

You shouldn't need a very old, unsecure version of Flash Player to view Flash content, you should be able to use the latest most secure version.

Adobe don't give anyone else the right to distribute Flash Player, so there is no legit source. They (and Microsoft, Apple, Google and others) are working hard to make sure end of life is end of life.

I know it's ending soon... how are we supposed to watch things for the last time if we don't have access to the old versions? I was told by Adobe support to check here to see if anyone had an old download I could use since the rest had been archived.
