I need baby steps in finding and installing Flash Player for Intel based Mac OSX 10.5.8 with Safari 5.0.6. Please.

Looked up archives for version of Flash.  Tried to install.  Nothing worked.  Not too tech savvy.  The operating system cannot be upgraded on this Mac so this is what we have to work with.  Trying to work with a program that will not open -- just get a fuzzy sign telling me I need Flash.

Hi,

  1. Download the zip file http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/installers/archive/fp_10.3.183.90_archive_mac_only.zip‌
    1. It'll most likely download to your Downloads directoyr
    2. Double-click the downloaded zip file to uncompress it
    3. Navigate into the newly created fp_10.3.183.90_archive_mac_only directly
    4. navigate into the 10_3_r183_90 directory
    5. double-click the file: flashplayer_10_3r183_90_mac_intel.dmg to mound the dmg and display the installer app
    6. Double-click the Install Adobe Flash Player.app icon to launch the installer
    7. Follow prompts to proceed with installation

Note that most modern browsers will block this version of Flash Player due to it being old and insecure.
