i tried everything to install adobe flash on my mac book, & at 50% the installation fails. i've uninstalled the program with the uninstaller & deleted the original files to do a clean install/

i tried everything to install adobe flash on my mac book, & at 50% the installation fails. i've uninstalled the program with the uninstaller & deleted the original files to do a clean install. I've gone through the entire trouble shooting system that adobe has to offer & i'm still lost on how to install this program. Unsure if this is a major issue or not but i've not been able to install any adobe product. Every attempt fails. The adobe reader DC completes & then at the end the website that follows up states that adobe has failed
