you check the volume control in the lower left of the video window?

I noticed my volume was turned all the way down today, and it works once I increase the volume.

Of course it resets if I close browser and have to increase the volume again.

Ok it seems this is a Youtube issue, all of the sudden I have three PCs with the exact same issue.

    2 WIndows 7 64-bit systems with IE 10.

    1 Windows 8 64-Bit system with IE 10.

All had the latest and greatest version of Flash and all have the same problem.

Doesn't matter if I was logged onto Youtube or not.

Granted the audio still works if I increase the volume within the window, but it will reset if I reboot or close the browser.

The only way I was able to get youtube to come up with the audio maxed out, was to drop Flash down to version 10.3.

If I updated the ActiveX portion of flash to 11.7 it would give me a mixed bag, where it seems to work than fail after a couple reboots.

updating 11.8 or 11.9 beta didn't fix the issue.

    hope that helps people

I believe the issue is with Youtube, not Flash Player.
