Question

ie is crashing when flash player is enabled. mostly when a video plays on websites

I have flash 20.0.286 for msie installed and enabled.  I get a crash of the "internet explorer has stopped responding" whenever I come across an embedded video on websites. or I try to play a video from the internet.  I have uninstalled it (flash) multiple times and if it is enabled it happens and if disable does not.  I have chrome and am having no issues with it there.

I have windows 7 fully updated.

have reset ie twice

any suggestions would be great at this point.

Please work through the video troubleshooting guide.  In particular, see the section about upgrading to the latest drivers for your hardware.

If you're still stuck, please follow the directions in the guide on providing the dxdiag report and additional information about what you tested and saw.
