IE9 and ExternalInterface

Question

I have downloaded the IE9 beta and noticed that calls made with ExternalInterface are no longer working. The browser does not successfully send back any data to Flash. I was wondering if anyone knew if Adobe and MS were working together to fix this or is IE 9 going to launch this way? At work nearly all of our projects rely on ExternalInterface to get data to Flash so this is looking like a major issue.

If anyone has any info on it; please share.

Hi, You might want to start a thread on the Flash forum since they may have more info than Flash Player forum. IE9 is still in beta, so that may be part of it. I can't speak for Microsoft or Adobe, but not knowing when IE9 will be a final release you may want to use the latest release version of Flash Player instead of the IE9.

Perhaps someone on the Flash forum would have more info.
